■Michino eki Yutori Park tamagawa
Michi-no-Eki means “Roadside Station” in Japanese.
The building itself was modeled after Yamaguchi Prefectural important cultural property Seido Temple Rokkakudo. There is a morning /local market held selling Yamaguchi local fresh produce and restaurants.
■Motonosumi inari Shrine
After a divine message from the white fox, this shrine was annexed in 1955 from Daikodani Inari Shrine in Tsuwano, Shimane Prefecture. This shrine is dedicated to prospering businesses, large catches at sea, and maritime safety as well as matchmaking, children, warding off evil spirits and bringing good luck, wealth and happiness, traffic safety, academic achievements, and fulfilling wishes.
The 123 torii shrine gates that down lead from Ryugu no Shiofuki (Dragon Palace Geyser) leave an exceptional impression. Look up when you reach the large torii shrine gate to find the offering box above your head ! Your wishes will come true if you can toss your offering into the box.
Opened in 2000. Tsunoshima Bridge is Japan’s longest 1780 metres in length free to use bridge that is connected to a remote island. Crossing other the region’s renowned Cobalt blue Amagase waters, you will surly understand why this magnificent view is widely considered Nagato coast’s best.
